Brushless motors are totally silent. However, I don't know of any good bikes that are also cheap. I don't recommend building your own unless you like the challenge of fixing stuff that breaks.

I'm looking for a bike that is quiet and goes around 25 mph...but it needs to be QUIET...are brushless motors the way to go for quietness and can someone point me to a good bike for cheap?...I weight about 240 lbs but I will lose weight once I get a bike...this is the heaviest I've ever weighed

impractical ? compared to what?

Looks very professional. I'm not that type of engineer guy or in any way, but it sounds pretty cool if it can go up to 20 mph. I think custom bikes are pretty creative, nice job. :)

Scooters are useless when the batteries are dead and your stuck away from home. 20MPH or 32km/h is an exageration by those engineers. question it. I also see how your weight is distributed on the back rack, boing. Definately not ultimate, no offence. 72volts also. hmm, must go more than 20mph. Otherwise, it would be a waste

It's funny how so many guys think that speed is the measure of an electric bike. If you want to go 30 mph without pedaling, ride a scooter. Bikes are not designed for speeds much over 20 mph. This explains why a bike looks do different from a scooter. Engineers know what they are doing. Small wheels, big brakes = scooter. Big wheels, little brakes = bicycle.

very nice video.

I bet the currie 1000w e-bike on my favorites is more ultimate than this.

you need to re-do your bike..you have it all wrong..you need to look into this a lot more..
