however, your answer is inaccurate. if you define Korean as a type of Chinese, then you also need to define Chinese as a type of Korean -- the both diverged from common ancestors. and it looks like Chinese are calling it an ancient China and Koreans are calling it an ancient Korea.
however, i suggest you reading about Haplo groups. you'll come to realize that Korean and Chinese are mere a political term.
