An excerpt from the 1988 NAACP awards, in which Luther VanDross sings "A House is not a Home" live. He, more or less, sings this song directly to Dionne Warrick (who, originally, sung this song). With the exception of "Stop to Love" (Live at Wembley), this is the best Luther VanDross performance I've ever seen.

Luther + Microphone + Audience = Pure Bliss! No music required; HE WAS THAT GOOD! I consider myself totally blessed to have had the opportunity to witness Luther perform "Live" twice. My Wife & I experienced the same emotional "Joyride" as the audience in this video during both concerts. His talent was truly Heavenly-Kissed; a once-in-a-lifetime performer. God bless Him.

The lyrics alone to this song crazy, stupid, hot, funky, fresh and Dope. Luthers voice is superb and his performance just makes sick. And I mean that in a GOOD way.
