"How To Write Powerful Ads That Force People To Look At Your MLM Program!"

Sooner or later, you are going to have to advertise your MLM program if you want to make money in this business! You are going to have to use some form of a headline/ad in order to do so!

It can be spoken or written, but you must use something to grab a person's attention so that they can look at your opportunity!

What is the most important thing that you have to do so that people will look at your opportunity?

Look at what the advertising legends say ...

"Advice to copywriters: when you are assigned to write an ad, write a lot of headlines first!"

--- John Caples

"Unless your headline sells your product, you have wasted 90% of your money!"

--- David Oglivy

"The sole purpose of a headline is to offer the reader a reward for reading the body copy. The wrong headline , or no headline, can result in the failure of the ad to accomplish its primary goal; to lead the reader to the body of the ad!"

--- Jay Abraham

It is evident that most networkers do not know how to write headlines/ads! Look at all of the "say nothing -- - do nothing ads" that you see on the internet! Maybe you don't feel that it is important! See ... advertising is the engine that gets your opportunity moving! Without it ... is like having a car with no engine!

What is a headline? It is an ad for your ad!!! It is the first thing a prospect will see or hear about your MLM program before they get into the details about your products, comp plan, or marketing system!

Your headline must do the following:

A. It must be targeted! Always ask this question!! Who I am trying to contact or connect with about my opportunity?

B. Your headline/ad must draw attention!

C. Your ad/headline must give the prospect a strong benefit!

D. It must be stated clearly & easily understood!

E. It must force the reader to want to know more about your program!

Do you want to see some good headline that really grab attention? Take a look at the front page of your local newspaper! When you read it, don't you scan the headlines to see what interests you? Guess what? People do the exact same thing on the internet!

Do you want to see some horrible headlines? Look at the newsgroups or email discussion lists!

Your headlines/ads in email, newsgroups, newspaper, word of mouth, e-zines, classified, or even links must work! If your headline/ad doesn't work, then people will not hear what you have to say and they will not join your program! Plain & simple!!!

With all of that being said, here is 16 step checklist you should use when you write your next ad:

#1. What am I trying to say to my targeted prospects?

#2. Does my headline offer my reader a reward for reading my ad?

#3. What is/are the benefit(s) do I have to promise my prospects & is it believable? (Make $50,000 in a week is not believable!)

#4. What do I have to say in my ad in order to get my targeted market to read my ad NOW?

#5. Have I used quotation marks " -- -" around my headline? (This makes a headline more memorable and it also makes it seems important!)

#6. Have I written a headline/ad that is going to make a reader want more information!

#7. Have I made sure that I never use reverse type, because it is hard to read! (How many web sites have you seen that have black or a dark background with white/light colored lettering!

It's difficult to read because we are not used to reading information that is reversed typed!?

#8. Am I being selfish in my ads -- - Talking about me, my company, or my products? Or am I talking about the benefits that my prospects get from my product or service?

#9. Is my headline interesting news from my prospects point of view?

#10. Don't use a lot of different type of font sizes or letter styles in your headline -- - it is very distracting! You have probably seen on-line ads like this with the funny faced symbol: "Get A Free web site :-) :-)" Advice? Don't do it!!!!!

#11. Am I using all capitalized letters in my headline? All caps make ads difficult to read, Capitalize only the First Letter of each word. The only exceptions are the words "or", "and", "of" & sometimes "to." It's your call on how it makes the ad look!

Example: I use "Secrets of MLM!" Instead of "Secrets Of MLM!" See the difference in the word "of" ?

#12. Am I trying to be cute, humorous/funny, clever, or abstract in my ads? This one in particular will cost you readership of your ad/headline! Example: "We Do Chicken Right!" "Lions, Tigers, & Bears -- - Oh My!!!!!"

#13. Do my headlines/ads build upon a prospects problems or frustrations in which I have the solution?

"Negative headlines" & "How To" headlines tend to work better than any other type of headlines or ads! Headlines/ads in the form of a question also work well! Like: "Why Aren't You Making Any Money In MLM?"

#14. Does my headline use eye-catching words such as "Amazing", "Secrets of", "Announcing", "The Magic Of", "How To", "New", "Quick & Easy"?

#15. Are the numbers that I use in my headline specific? For example, odd numbers are more compelling than even or rounded numbers! "I make $49,897 a year is more believable than $50,000 a year!"

Have you ever wondered why retailers sell a product for $19.95 instead of just a plain $20? Now you know!

#16. Can my ad easily adapt to the advertising space I'm using? Here is what I mean! An email ad should be about 5 to 6 word! What happens if your email ad is more than 6 words? The prospect will only see part of your Ad message!

Which ad would work better in email? "Secrets of MLM!" or "Discover The Secrets Of Making Money In MLM!"

In an Email "subject" line You'll see all of "Secrets of MLM!" But the second ad "Discover The Secrets of Making Money In MLM!", you'll probably see this "Discover The Secrets Of Making .....!

Now the second ad "Discover The Secrets of Making Money In MLM!" will work well on a "Free Classified Site" or A "Free Ad Link Site."

It all depends upon what type of internet browser that you are using!

Now in an E-zine ads, you have more ad space to say more ... roughly about three (3) line! Adapt your ad to the medium that your are using!

By going through this checklist before you write your MLM ad, chances are pretty good that you will write a good headline/ad!

Here are some good ads that have worked well & they have brought in $$ for their users.

1. "How To Collect Social Security At Any Age!"
2. "Tired Of Being A Nobody Distributor With A Dead Downline?"
3. "How Sit Back & Get Rich In Any MLM!"
4. "Lose Ugly Fat -- - 7 pounds a month!"
5. "The Lazy Man's Way To Riches!"
6. "Here's a Quick Way to Break Up A Cold!"
7. "Are You Ashamed Of The Smells In Your Home?"
8. "The Eight Wonder Of The World!"
9. "Men Who Know It All Are Not Invited To Read This ..."
10. "Advertising Magic!"
11. "Do You Make These Mistakes In English?"
12. "The Greatest Bible News In The Last 341 Years!"

Just to name a few! As you probably know right about now, I'm big on advertising & Marketing in MLM! You should be TOO!!!
